love the fact that you have these songs on actual record....great selection all around

Thanks, @audioprophecy! Wish I owned all of these tracks on vinyl, I've got some of them - but definitely not all. A few aren't available on wax (that I've seen anyways). This mix was done live on two Technics from vinyl records and digital files through Final Scratch. I really appreciate you listening and thanks again for the comments.

This is a great mix. It's funny but you and I have very similar tastes and collections. It's nice to see as there aren't a lot of people up this way on the same type of tip.
-
@Karl Spackler: Word, was thinking that same thing while bumpin your mixes this afternoon. It’s true what they say… good taste is hard to come by, and great minds think alike. ;)

kathy diamond? at least remind me of it. very nice vibe, totally makes me miss San Francisco....
-
@audioprophecy: Thanks! It's Maurice Fulton's remix of Soul Mekanik's "Go Upstairs". Sure sounds like it could have been on the Kathy Diamond record though (I had to double-check to be sure it wasn't), definitely received the MF treatment.

Best listened to loudly with old school cats who know how to jack, eighties RnB to classic electro to early house and back again, 100% vinyl
Just got a new mixer (Rane Empath Rotary) and moved house, now I'm struggling with my rig's sound/recording setup. Too much low end on the original recording of this mix, almost as if something wasn't grounded properly (not the case). Wondering if it's the ScratchAmp preamp as the tunes sounded peachy through the monitors. Any suggestions?
Tried to EQ it a bit, but wondering how it sounds on your end?
@BLA__: Sounds fine from here. Really nice mix overall.
@Karl Spackler: Appreciate you listening, Karl. Thanks!
@twentyfourtracks: bass is punchy and tight, midrange isn't blown out and muddy (most common eq malady) , the high may need just a tad of shelving at 12K and on to compensate for mp3 encoding.
@twentyfourtracks: Thanks, Virgil. I very much appreciate you listening and your feedback.
