A Year Of China A depository for all China Field Recordings and a source for the 'A Year of China' project
kunming-bicycle-ride-the-1st
A ride around the first ring of Kunming, China. It took about an hour and a half, starting at Jiaoling Lu riding south until I reached the point where I started. The Spring City certainly has some diverse, sonically rich environments that lie in and around the inner ring. It was a beautiful ride for most part, along tree lined bike lanes separated from auto traffic. There are some interesting doppler effects from the incessant car horn honking.
