Once again another noise filled new year celebration is upon us! Recorded well in advance of the midnight countdown, this 5 hour run up to the amazing curtain of sound that is the new year is always a treat to capture and experience. Hard to imagine? Think: a 100-yard Super Bowl tie-breaker touchdown run that lasts 5 hours (only applicable in NFL-crazed countries).
When the moment finally arrived, the loud pops made the mics on my D-50 bottom out so you may hear a few clicks now and then when it gets really chaotic.
