Once upon a time I debated whether the JV-1080 (my weapon of choice at that time) could sound "analog" or not. For the record... yeah, we did a collaborative CD... I made this track. It's no overdubs, just a MIDI-controlled JV playing tweaked sounds.

@VennDiagram: thank you very much! I have more 1080-based tracks that I perhaps should post here or on bandcamp. Running out of space, have to save up pennies for a Pro account I guess... :)

@turbopage: Wonderful hearing that, it's almost 10 years ago since I made it now. :)

@somedesperateglory: Too kind of you! Thanks a lot! We actually did a remix of one of the tracks. Unfortunately we had miscalculated and we were 24 hours too late!!! Their wavefiles were really choppy and not very professional.

@indwellingfire: Very kind of you! No, I don't, I've just been making tracks since the Atari days... in fact I mostly mix with my headphones - can really recommend AKG K240 Studio! :)

I think you should have produced Erasure's last album instead of Frankmusik!

Your production is immaculate. On all the tracks I've listened to drums are impeccably mixed and everything is ultra-balanced. Do you work as a a sound engineer when you're not making music?

@localherofromnantes: Thanks, I was inspired by Art Of Noise among other things. :)

@Busstop18: Thanks a lot! Many sounds were programmed or re-programmed by me. Unfortunately I never really backed up the SysEX files. Only to some Atari disks I don't know if I still have somewhere...

Absolutely wonderful! Being a jv-owner, I wonder if my battery has been drained? ;) Never found these kinds of sounds!
