Welcome to the preview of my new single, 'Albion Voice,' released on St Georges Day April 23rd.
Its the lead track from the album of the same name - out on May 28th :) Recorded over 2 years in London, LA and Buenos Aires the song features, (film composer) John Williams’ string players! It is about the search for identity in a multicultural world. Enjoy!
Bishi’s new album Albion Voice explores themes of Britain ancient and modern, the rich tapestry of East London's folklore, social politics and cultural mix providing a vivid backdrop to the writing.
Written by Bishi/ Hardern * Produced by Matthew Hardern * Engineered & mixed by David Peters * String arrangement - Neil Kaczor/ Kate St John * Vocals & Sitar - Bishi * Lute - Evar Cativiela * Recorder - Ramiro Albino * Jews Harp - Peter Hope Evans * Artwork - Hardern/Harris * C&P Gryphon Records Ltd 2012

Love it! Its all here, echoes of England and of India. There's even echoes of Enya and definite echoes of the style of Lata Mangeshkar in playback. Most of all it describes my children. Absolutely ace.
