Bird is the creation of 23 year old singer/songwriter Adele Emmas and fellow band members Keith Thompson, Ste Parratt, Sian Williams and Alexis Samata.

After signing with London based record label Jack to Phono and releasing their much anticipated E.P 'Phantoms' on Halloween of 2011. Bird have since gone from strength to strength. BBC Radio stations including Radio 1's Rob Da Bank, BBC 6 Music's Maconie and Radcliffe, BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson and BBC Radio Merseyside have all been playing Bird on air for the past few months. The band have also recently had their music featured on Channel 4 and have had magazine articles published in NYLON magazine and Bido Lito.

After touring back in 2011 the band supported great acts such as Hannah Peel, Sarah Beth Tucek and Michael Chapman. After being especially selected by the BBC, Bird also recently attended a musicians workshop at Abbey road and Maida Vale London where they got the chance to meet the likes of Jo Whiley, Steve Lamaq and Zane Lowe.

Bird are currently in the studio working on their next release, due out March/April of 2012.
