About
If you need a boost of caffeine then you should definitely check out Bionicore! Agressive and heavy but still melodic and catchy, delivering a wall of sound. This metal band, who also likes to call their style pop - hardcore, offers a little bit of everything, expressing their love for their roots of trash, hardcore, rock, grunge and poprock.Mario Stepanovsky`s (guitar )musical ideas just fall into each other with Heni Stepanovsky`s (vocal) ideas and their music shows undeniable chemistry and great compromise between their musical influences, creating good contrast. Heni`s lyrics are expressing views on different aspects of life, empowering, sometimes sad but generally uplifting, talking right into your face. What sets this band apart from a lot of other metal bands is that even people who don`t relate to metal will just get through the screaming to hear the pay off, the melodies they can sing along to.Bionicore wants to connect and be accessible to a larger audience, setting no limits, taking it song by song and have fun along the way. Not promising anything, just going with the gut from album to album with no set limits on genre mixing and influences. The core members of the band have traveled and been together for a long time with a dream to pursue a professional music career. With limited options in their home country Slovakia, EU, they decided to risk everything, packed backpacks and left to play Texasrockfest in Austin, TX in 2007 as an established slovakian hard rock band which played the slovakian scene for a while. After settling down on South Padre Island, TX, the band decided to take some time off to build up a new band, later called Bionicore, and perfect their performance and writting skills and started all over. A collaboration started with the overseas drummer Miroslav Bartos and thanks to this possibility the band could get creative and work on new material at their home studio with help of Frank Morris, recording engineer from south Texas. The songs were edited and re-written till there were no objections to the performance and overall sound. The project was sent to slovakian studio Morpheus multimedia for final mix and mastering. Later, given a title "Wake up zombieland", the material is ready for release in 2011 and the guys move to California to give their all to make their dream happen.
