Biolysis (Jason K Confer) has been involved with making music in some way since the age of 14. First playing guitar and bass and eventually making his way into djaying some time in 1999/2000. Experimenting with several genres, Jason found his home with drum & bass. With a fast paced energy and aggressive nature not unlike the hardcore punk and metal he was already accustomed to, it drew him in and he hasn't looked back since.

Around 2006 Jason decided to dive into production and further his placement within the dnb community. With playing instruments for so long, production seemed the next natural step in the progression of what is Biolysis.

After a few years of learning the curve, the sound has come. With his first release "Fear" produced alongside the darkside bad boys, GEIN out on Bad Chemistry as well as a collab with Wreckage Machinery "Zero Code" out on Ammunition Recordings, things are surely not slowing down. Check back soon for some new solo bits and some tasty new collabs.

Biolysis is also part of The Breed, which also consists of Scourge(Todd Bishop) and Technician(Erik Melich).
