Bioburden started her journey into music around the age of twelve. Influenced by the genres of Punk, Metal, and Industrial in her teen years, Bioburden tends to have a darker edge to her sound. In 2004, she bought her first turntables along with some Drum and Bass records, and fell in love with the art of turntablism. In 2006 Bioburden began getting the attention of internet radio stations, such as dnbradio.com and techno-dnb.com, and started performing shows from her living room. Currently, as of 2010, she's looking to break out onto the dancefloor and rock the masses. Don't expect to hear just "run of the mill" drum and bass from this woman; she's guaranteed to play music to make you move your ass.
