I have been DJing techno for over 10 years and have been involved in the Liverpool music scene for most of that time. I began by frequenting nights such as Voodoo, T-Funkshun, Bugged Out, The Orbit and Atomic Jam back in 2001. This is where my love of techno music started and in 2005 I joined forces with Bill Heckle and John Heckle to start the techno night "Alcatraz" at the Cavern Club where we featured many big names such as Steve Rachmad, Surgeon, Regis, James Ruskin, Deetron, Ben Sims, Neil Landstrumm, Kirk Degeorgio and Christian Wunsch. Following this we organised "Rehab", where we showcased the wealth of unsung techno talent in Liverpool.

My main influences are Robert Hood, Steve Rachmad, Jeroen, Jeff Mills and the rest of the Detroit crew - hopefully this comes through in my productions.

I feel that there's nothing like playing with old hardware wherever possible and my Roland TR-909, TR-707 and TR-727 get an awful lot of use until the small hours of the morning. Whenever possible I try and collaborate with my friends, such as John Heckle and Mark Forshaw (who boasts an envious array of old analog equipment ;p).
