@BinauralDiaries: Also, I think the connection on the left-side mic was a bit loose and caused some buzzing at some stage in this recording. I replaced the mics when I got home from Japan.

@almostdailysometimes: Yeah - it's the sound that the bullet train 'shinkansen' makes just prior to departure.
