Heavily influenced by the electronic music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, Stefan Marbury aka Binary Sun lives in all genres between Ambient, Minimal, up to Electro. There he does not care much for special musical rules like genres in general. Music is music. And either it speaks to him or not. So his music sounds like it sounds. Sometimes it sounds like "... music from a CSI movie ... " and another time there is a ".. nod and wink to the latin Freestyle in there." Most important to Stefan is the maximum coherence and power of his sounds. To achieve this he often spends days behind his synthesizers. Which are self soldered in part. And here is another uniqueness of Mr Binary Sun. He tries to use real hardware instruments only. And also when playing live there is always a lot of hardware on stage.
Stefan loves to play live. Even improvised sets. He often showed that during music projects like "Ambiosonics" or "SphericLounge" where electronic music is played absolutely live on stage. If you want to book Binary Sun as a live act, just write to info@binarysun.de
