This is a letter an amazing letter to choose a piece a letter a reflection I write "I say" a story is told it is reflections remember I write "I say" so little in letters my name forms it is paper and reflections starved an amazing reflection your name comes apart in letters I write "I say" you said of course the reasons appear in hands and are left in pieces so little and still your name is only hours that I write "I say" less to be held gestures fall upon the minutes I have tried held gestures come apart in reflections varied forms in letters I have stretched over years try

    --------------------------

Over the water a story starts in the middle
That is to say “won’t start” and we can beg for a beginning
“she’s already gone” and a stranger is framed nicely, warm
time becomes long like images, that easily falls back into landscape, by habit

Definitely touched, and now “everyone wants to know” – is that it?
No, it is a catalogue of quotes and we carry it, not vice versa
But a too-serious visage and that always prepares for the worst
Running around looking modern (if dressed in reflections)

I can’t say for sure but it is a pattern covering your arms
To ask for blessings, curses, feelings this is fine
Even with an open collar and a glance downward, “I wouldn’t have left without”
And thinking about sight the scene becomes plastic and inevitable, okay, superimposed
    Reduced, temporary hours, even days

    An unintentional pause
