Bengy is a DJ/Producer currently based in Malta whose sound can be described as deep intricate bass-driven techno with hints of minimalism and raw house.

From an early age he showed an avid interest in rhythm, percussion and detailed patterns in sound. A music fuelled upbringing led to his influences being diverse and this enabled him to craft a style which is distinct and easily recognisable. He’s built on techno with a revamped modern touch and attention grabbing sounds aplenty.

He appeared on the scene in 2007, after a long stint in the UK completing his academic studies. .

2010 saw him shake up the South American dance scene - the Cha Cha Club, Bogota, Colombia and Cocoliche, Buenos Aires - South America’s number one underground techno club. In addition he played many impromptu sets on beaches leaving behind a wake of fans from around the globe.

Bengy’s weekly clubnight PrimeTime is revered as one of the best-loved on the island and set the standard for consistent, quality-oriented nights which are always packed out. He is renowned for high energy sets and his skill in working the crowd into a frenzy. His love for warehouse driven parties compelled him to throw the infamous ‘STEALTH’ parties at random locations which are eagerly awaited.

Over the past year, Bengy has played alongside big names in the techno world including Tommy Four Seven, Monoloc, Joseph Capriati and Gaiser.

Presently in the studio creating new beats to add to his catalogue, we can only envisage what’s next from this upcoming DJ/Producer.
