Oh Yeah

"Billy & Dolly" is the musical venture of Bill Rousseau and Dahlia Gallin Ramirez, the singing and songwriting duo of San Francisco band The Monolith. After five years with The Monolith, Billy & Dolly traded in the Moogs and elaborate orchestrations for an acoustic guitar and a piano, and went into two years of song-writing hibernation in Dolly's basement. They wrote songs about love and loss, old friends, Gene Clark, the Garden of Eden... Now, out of hibernation, they are ready to rock again, backed by The Monolith's former drummer Alex deCarville (The Mountain Goats and John Vanderslice) and bassist Adam Cunha (20 Minute Loop).

The duo have just completed their 2nd release "Dally Bon Idyll", slated for release in the spring of 2012. The record was produced by Jason Quever, frontman and mastermind of the Papercuts.
