@Mick Chillage: cheers Mick, badly in need of getting back to making tunes.

Love the groove, great complexity and sounds. Also, the irregular ringy "pad" in the background is great.

@Swan Brown: Loosening? You mean leaving more gaps between the samples?

It was originally a sample of kids cheering, you can sorta hear near the start i think.

@Faktablad: I used Grain Delay in ableton. Played with the spray, frequency and pitch a little. Not quite sure what exactly it does... but sounds pretty messed up :P

@Faktablad: Thanks so much :D This is one of those tracks that definitely needs a face-lift. I'm gonna try come back to this and fix it up. Most stuff I just upload and move on. But I agree about the snares, they can really be taken further, its just I've never really done anything this beat heavy before. I'll try sort out that b/g cymbal noise.

Really liking the atack/reverse work on the claps here. I agree with Faktblad-- The cymbol seems to not be playing nice with the rest. maybe shortening the decay?

nice intro concept. I think you could tighten it up a bit by loosing the part before ths mark, and moving "tommy" up by half.

I really dig this groove, especially the snare sound. One thing that sounds a little out of place is the china-ride-ish cymbal in the background, I feel you could alter the timbre a bit more, maybe make it less pitchy and more noisy. Also I'm just dying to hear this beat break a little bit, I want to hear what that snare can do. But that also might be my personal taste.
