Serving as an unbiased outlet for today’s EDM fans and elite, Bill extends his musical ability across various platforms to tease people’s eardrums across the world. Whether his sounds are hitting Europe’s prestigious Radio 1, the sun-drenched Ibiza Radio, the big screen of international TV and film sound production, or his massive show on Chicago’s legendary B96.3 FM, Billy holds nothing back but to leave perceptions in awe.

Today, too many DJ’s are manufactured. Built on sync buttons and pre programming. Bill’s ingredients are simple. When performing, Bill takes a classic yet dynamic approach. Using years of expertise and his no holds barred passion and creativity, he maintains main room residencies at The Mid, Y Bar and Spy Bar – a few of Chicago’s most exclusive and respected nightspots. It’s not uncommon to hear about—or witness—celebrities getting lost in one of Bill’s live performances too. Recently, EDM heavyweights MSTRKRFT, Bad Boy Bill, Norman Doray and Armin Van Burren have all squeezed their schedules to pop in for one of Basil’s sets. It’s not necessarily about the tracks or the acapellas he plays, it’s more about his overwhelming presence, his preservation for the culture of “mixing”, and his artistic-knack for steering crowds in any direction he wants. It is this reason in particular that Bill receives the call regularly to open the tours of ATB, Paul Oakenfold, Sander Van Doorn, Fedde Le Grand, Morgan Page, and members of Swedish House Mafia.

His ability to understand the dance floor—and the quality in which people deserve to experience it—has influenced his time spent in the studio chair as well. Straight to the point, music and sound editing is what drives Bill. Creating a new tune and then a few hours later playing it for a sold out crowd is what being at this level is all about. At one time the creative force behind the duo, The House Moguls [2006-2012] but now motivated to follow his own agenda; Bill uses his time at the keyboards to produce sounds that he believes in, that are cross-generational and influential. He has collaborated and remixed artists such as Daft Punk, Ellie Goulding, Phil Collins, Roisin Murphy and Depeche Mode, has been featured on career-defining record labels such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Creamfields, Juicy Music, Subliminal, Sony, and Atlantic. He has also experienced a #1 release on the coveted Beatport.com.

Bill’s focus moving forward isn’t just to think about the future; it’s to simply enjoy the now. Part of his approach is to see every opportunity as a chance to create something that’s brilliant, and eccentric. Whether he’s on the airwaves, in the DJ booth, or at the console, Bill’s artistic-prowess finds a way to make a strong, lasting presence felt to the masses. To sum-up Bill in life’s sequence of threes,

he is an influencer… he is a gambler… But most importantly, he is an [artist].
