Born in 1979 in Athens, B.Q. liked to push buttons with sounds. From the age of 12 he started listening to hip hop and with time to all various sounds of the afro american culture with his friend J. Melik. In 1996 he was the MC and producer for the hip hop group A.K.P.A. In 2002 together with DJ Mcd, they formed Neverland,chilled out productions with the project ‘Dreams’ from Planetworks. In 2005 he was featured in the collection Sound of Everything ”Hellectronic 01” with the track ”Electronova” featuring Romero Miller. He has collaborated with artists such as Melodiq, R.A.H., Vickda Kreed. Since 2008, he is a member of the 4 piece group NEIGHBOURS (J. Melik – Santo – Vber) as a DJ and live beatmaker and also an artist of CAST-A-BLAST with the release “Jazzova” 2009 with collaborations by J. Melik – RSN – Nikos Matrziokas – David Carlton. The same year he released a track in a compilation by Multi Vitamins MV16 the track ”Party”
From the album “Jazzova”, tracks like “All night”, “I walk alone” are featured in compilations such as MJ7, “Stephane Pompougnac: Night & Day (2011)”. In the meantime a free download album “You can feel my passion” was released.
In 2010 he meets Kill Emil and Elephant phinix, and with J. Melik who has been a friend for years started making music all together and the result was “Pad Trio + Elephant phinix”. Pad trio are Billa Qause – J.Melik – Kill Emil.
Wanting to do more things and release more music independently they created their own label by the name of “Beatquick” a record company that consists of friends that enjoy making music…
The first release from Beatquick was ‘The Corner’ by kill Emil with the collaboration by Billa Qause on the production of 2 tracks “Appreciation to the Mic” and “Propaganda”. In April 2012 he released his second album by the name ‘e – Chop’ and at the same time they recorded ‘Raw Sessions’ as a member of Pad Trio that was made into a video with the help of Vber. Also he is collaborating with the English label Riddim Fruit (« Sabrosa», «Comanche») and will be releasing an album by the name “Coffee Chop”.
In the past years he has opened for artists such as Grammatik, Dub Pistols, Loop Troop Rockers, Wax Tailor and more…
