About
By day, I'm an animator and illustrator. By night, I sit in a small room and put sounds together. They're mostly VSTs, as well as guitar and bass.
I like to think of making music in the same terms as painting. There's always an idea at the root of it, then a skeletal sketch of that idea, then the building of layers from there. I consider myself a musician in the sense that I hear the music in my head. As for creating I'm not a live player, so in the actual act of constructing the music I see myself more as artist and craftsman than a musician. Mostly I guess I feel this way because none of this work is meant to be played live. In that sense it is more of a one off piece of art, like a painting.
Please send any comments you might have, as I'd love to hear them, and they'll help to stimulate my growth as a recording artist.
