About

Big Riddim Recordings was created in 2008 by AK1200, who had previously worked with well known UK drum and bass labels, Suburban Base and Moving Shadow. The label started out as a platform for AK to continue with his quest of discovering new talent and promoting the sounds of DnB to anyone within reach.

Distributed exclusively by Nu Urban UK, Big Riddim and Big Riddim VIP, respectavely have had several releases, featuring artists such as Tech Itch, Kemal, Evol Intent, Muffler, The Clique, Junior Reid, Digital, Zardonic, Genr8, NC17, and many others, including AK and W.P.L himself.

In 2011, AK expanded the label, and welcomed partner Giulio Ascoli aka W.P.L, from Italy.
Together they remodeled the company, and have created a very aggressive campaign for the global sustenance of Drum and Bass music in the future.
