BIO:

Born in Washington DC, Julian Peterson began his musical journey at the early age of 5 training in classical violin for over 15 years. Later exploration in sound followed with brief stints as a drummer and bassist in various bands through high school and college.

Around 1995 in Chicago, Julian heard Jungle/Drum & Bass for the first time. The sounds immediately resonated with him and a deep connection was formed.

1997 found Julian bringing the Drum&Bass sound to virgin ears
and the rave scene in Phoenix. Later moving to Los Angeles in early 2001, Julian joined with the Sublife crew
(Mok & Rusta) and was a part of the infamous Databass parties. While living in LA for the next 7 years Julian was also an active participant in many full moon events, playing at epic locations - from beaches to mountaintops to the beautiful desert. Presently he is back living in Washington DC and pushing his sound at various events and club nights around the city.

Over the years Julian has had the privilege of playing alongside world class talent with the likes of Cheb I Sabbah,
Z Trip, A Sides, Infiltrata (12th Planet), Flinch, and Total Science. His passion
for Drum&Bass is as strong as ever and is evident in the energy felt in his varied sets and performances. Present, focused and very hungry - expect good things to continue to come from Julian as he continues his voyage into the world
of music.
