52 Song Pick Up - Week 21
This week's song is a very strange and very cool reworking of the title track to my 2008 album with Rel as The RItz, "The Night of Day". The reworking was done by Twocsinak (aka Dj Sarah Wilson) and his fiance Beth Ward. The pair are from Bristol, UK and found me via the internets. I provided them with some acapellas for remixing and quickly forgot about it, chalking it up as another internet collaboration that never comes to fruition (I've been involved in a number of these). But to my surprise a few months later they sent me this gem and i was blown away! By the time we received it, though, we were kind of through promoting The Ritz album and so the song never really got exposed to an audience. Until now, of course.
