Big Steel Shit were founded in Taranto in 2006 by three close friends Stefano D'Errico, Giovanni Lopriore and Marco Costante. Giovanni, at first was the band's bassist, while Stefano and Marco took the role of guitarists. A series of unfortunate events led to an endless sequence of line-up changes, especially regarding drummers and bassmen, and finally in 2010 the band took a stable shape when Alessandro Lippo and Davide Perrucci joined Big Steel Shit, the former as bassist, the latter as drummer. With this formation the band published its first LP, called "Greavy" consisting of 8 tracks, characterized by a raw hard'n'heavy sound. Soon after Davide Perrucci was replaced by Fulvio Orlando, a skillful drummer, who helped his new band-mates to reach a profound artistic ripeness that is leadin' em all to the release at the end of 2012 of a new LP, named "Shit Happens", which will be anticipated by an European Tour this summer. Nowadays Big Steel Shit means a meltin' pot of Alternative Metal energy and Post-Grunge atmosphere, proudly made by five nice guys trying to express in their lyrics most of all the shattering rage for a world resigned to a destiny of material and cultural misery..
