bicycle day is a three piece orchestra making quiet or big sound. They are formed in Istanbul in 2008, known for making only improvised music and for their 5 DIY guerilla albums. With the combination of computer, electronic devices, toy instruments and live acoustic drums, the orchestra focuses on slowly or quickly shifting textures. They are working on their new album which is curated by non-profit organization "Poetry Scores", from Saint Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. In this project bicycle day will be scoring "Ever-Ready Bank Accounts", a poem by 1986 Nobel Prize winner "Wole Soyinka". The album will be released in the winter of 2013 and will be the first written music experiment of bicycle day without improvisations.
