There are few clubbers who have not been touched by Betsie Larkin’s signature writing and uniquely powerful yet lush vocals. Betsie’s striking melodies and profound lyrics have earned her a legion of passionate fans around the world, who voted her as the #3 EDM vocalist on Trancepodium and #4 on Beatsmedia! Most recently, Betsie performed in front of a crowd of 20,000 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California for the POP NYE 2013 event and Ultra Music Festival in Santiago, Chile!
2008 marked the beginning between Betsie and Dutch Superstar, Ferry Corsten when the pair released the now classic, ‘Made of Love’. The record quickly swept across nightclubs worldwide and hit the Billboard Top 40 Pop chart in the Netherlands and topped the Dance charts in America. The follow up single with Ferry, ‘Not Coming Down’ described by Beatsmedia as “an immaculate annihilating ballad” was remixed by trance legend, Dash Berlin and went on to hit # 2 on the Beatport Trance Top 100 Chart. The whirlwind of working with Ferry Corsten was only beginning as Ferry and Betsie embarked on a 15-city world tour, cementing Betsie’s status as a major player in the EDM scene.
After a number of high-profile releases, with some of the best-known DJ/Producers around the globe, under her belt, next came, “A New Day” a collaboration with German innovator, ATB. The record appeared on ABT's album ‘Future Memories’ and was released via Armada Records imprint, Kontor Records. Subsequently, her collaboration with Irish DJ, John O’Callaghan, “Save This Moment” dominated EDM radio stations world-wide and was remixed by British icon Gareth Emery. There after, Betsie released her next single “You Belong To Me” with Russian superstar Bobina, which landed a Top 10 spot on the illustrious ‘A State of Trance’ Annual Countdown. She also joined Gabriel & Dresden for their first vocal release in a decade with “Play it Back” (Armada Records). In 2013, there is no slowing down for Betsie as work on her second studio album is underway and collaborations with more and more top 100 DJ's are ready for release!
