The charred version of "Chartreuse" - burnt to taste - followed by a Greycliff 1666.
Basically, "Chartreuse" turned on its head and doubled in speed - shaken not stirred.
Not into Chartreuse? Try a Cameron's Kick
1 oz Scotch (a blended like Famous Grouse is good)
1 oz Irish whisky (Jameson's fine but Redbreast is better)
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz orgeat (here's an easy homemade recipe if you can't find it in stores - http://www.kaiserpenguin.com/how-to-make-orgeat-syrup/)
Orange twist for garnish < burn it a bit :)
Glass: chilled coupe or cocktail glass
Tools: shaker, strainer, multiple tongues for evaluation
And yes yes yes - that is a sample from Casablanca - sue me.
