About
2009 was the birth year for interdimensional label Betamorph Recordings. To our friends in China it may have been the year of the Ox, but in the Dubstep calendar it was the year of the ALIEN. Growing from the bass heavy fruit of veteran DJ's and producers Dylan James (aka Deej) and Chris McCahill (aka Megatron), Betamorph has been pummeling the scene with a twisted series of epic soundscapes and dirty symphonies. Nominated in the Best New Label category of the Dubstep Forum Awards in 2009, Betamorph is now ready to conquer the world with their unparalleled brand of subterranean sci-fi beats.
Taking the visceral edge of Deej’s roots in the early nineties Los Angeles rave scene and combining it with Megatron’s seminal graphic imagery, tossing in some amazing dedication/commitment and web/business skills from Get Physical, superior treasure hunting/networking from Jack Haigh aka Krew, solid support and promotion from Jason at Dubstep Records, visions of a galactic future have helped Betamorph to create a rare coalition between art and music. The science fiction imagery synonymous with every Betamorph release is symbolic of the ethos that Dubstep’s lack of boundaries epitomize the innovation capable in a digital age. The Betamorph symbol not only represents a futuristically styled archive of groundbreaking music, but a fair deal for the artist, a perspective that many currently see as alien.
This has allowed Betamorph to build a prolific catalogue and extend their reach worldwide. The artist roster not only includes insane talent from Point.Blank, Hulk, D-Jahsta, Filth Collins, Lonestar and Mark Instinct but also releases from legends like DZ, Barbarix and 12th Planet. Already positioned at the forefront of the Dubstep revolution, Betamorph have also been picked up by Symphonic Distribution and featured as their label of the month more than once. Although based stateside, Betamorph have also been harboring talent from around the globe. A partnership with mastering engineer Rick Simons aka SymbL and British journalist Simon Fogg has helped ensure that the label’s output will always match the quality of the imagery and the beats in professionalism, but also in never becoming predictable. Betamorph conquers across all platforms.
With the spotlight on 2011, look out for forthcoming releases from Lonestar, Filth Collins, Hulk, Halo Nova, Brainpain, Bytesize, Partyson and Crim, Trowa, Statix, Sinister Souls and many others. There are even talks of working with S.T. Holdings towards pressing vinyl to compliment digital releases and add a new strand to Betamorph’s empire. Since the label’s inception, the Betamorph journey has been unreal. This is the future of Dubstep: a genre currently undergoing Betamorphosis. http://betamorphrecordings.com

Grafta.
Last note... I have a hunch you might need some tunes. I'll sort you with some stuff for practice.
lol, interesting choice. Notice the waveform on this part of the mix. I think you lost track of your levels a bit on this... even sounds a little distorted. I enjoyed this experience though... keep up the good work. It took me about two years till I really had a grip on mixing. Holler at me and I'll give you some pointers that will change you forever.
This mix didn't agree with me too much... all good though, it's all part of the process.
Very interesting.
You must be on some really good drugs.
Super dope tune.. You ever heard of "The Orb"? You should check em out, you'd dig em. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Orb
I think I understand where you're at with things.. hit me up for some pointers ;)
I'm gonna have to find one of my mixes that I did in my first year of mixing... it's very similar in style.
Reminds me of when I first started DJ'ing and I was UBER creative due to lack of preconceived notions. I used to mix the Pink Floyd song called "Run" with Photek and other Drum and Bass.
One year of DJ'ing. I remember when I could say that. Checking out the mix now but wanted to make sure you know how important it is for you to have a T/L (Tracklist)... it's a pain in the ass sometimes but if you keep notes while you mix it will make your life easier. I hope this helps. It's super important.
Dope
Love this shit...
@Belligerentz: lol
Madonna is a whore
That's a big tune

@Jippah: Your negativity won't phase us. This song is for charity. So you're basically wishing ill on the people we're trying to help. You're a mess and really should check your ill vibes.
@Le Bawski: Nice one. Thanks for the gratitude. I'll be sure to put up a few more over the weekend ;)
What makes me the most happy about this whole thing is the fact that thousands of people are laughing. I've had SOOOOOOOOOO many laughs from this song and experience... it's made my life better and made me happy. Total win. I'm glad to share happiness with this world. Sending out mad shouts of love to all of you!! Even the bastards I hate :new age gandhi:
