Devoid of inspiration, I decided to record a cover of, what I believe to be, the best guitar solo of all time, Steve Hackett's melodic masterpiece in Genesis' "Firth of Fifth", from the album "Selling England By The Pound" (1973).
Predictably, the backing took much longer than the solo itself! And my version definitely isn't the best in the world - track down the original if this whets your whistle!

@Ry Schaworski Guitar: I think you'll find it says "excerpt", not "expert"...

Aww man, now you've got me thinking. What would I say was I thought to be the best guitar solo of all time?
