Ben Z is a hip hop artist, sound engineer, and change agent living in Madison, Wisconsin. He has been perfecting his craft for the last 8 years and uses it to inspire people's hopes and dreams. In the past he has worked extensively with youth by facilitating after school hip hop programs. Currently he acts as an ambassador for SoundCloud in Madison after being chosen for the SoundCloud Heroes program.

Why do I create music? 
I do this because it's my hope that somehow in my lyrics you will find yourself. You will find yourself laughing, reflecting, and ultimately motivated to live you life in a more intentional way. Our hours and breaths have a limit that we can't predict. Hopefully my voice and words can inspire you to find joy and purpose in your days. After all, our time right now is just a grand march towards death. Let's walk this journey together...even if it's only through a short song...Then go and tell your mother.
