About

Ben Z is a hip hop artist, producer, and change agent living in Madison, Wisconsin with his wife and three children. In addition to making his own music, Ben promotes critical and creative thinking about community problems, social issues, and youth solutions through after school hip hop sessions for youth.

Why do I create music?
I do this because it's my hope that somehow in my lyrics you will find yourself. You will find yourself laughing, weeping, reflecting, and ultimately motivated to live you life in a more intentional way. Our hours and breaths have a limit that we can't predict. Hopefully my voice and words can inspire you to find joy and purpose in your days. After all, our time right now is just a grand march towards death. Let's walk this journey together...even only for a 4 minute song. Peace.
