Ben Purple is a name which sprang from a very long decision phase. The idea for this unusual project came to today’s team of producers one foggy night when everyone else was sleeping. That night Benny Aregger and Pascal Kulman met each other by chance at a private function held at a club in Zurich.

Benny performs as a DJ according to the motto “weird and wonderful”, that night he was wearing an eighties tennis outfit. He cast a spell over the partygoers through his personality alone. BEN PURPLE emerged on that wild night when Benny was blasting the crème de la crème of Elektrofutter through the speakers including creations from his own music laboratory. BEN PURPLE had now been born…

The two of them worked meticulously in Pascal’s studio for many a long night. The result is certainly worth checking out. The first two singles will “Sadistic Pleasure” & “My Synth is Sick”will be released as Sick Synths EP soon. (Fabriquez Musique, Germany)

Ben Purple’s “Sick Synths EP” is not just electronic music. No, it is much more a fusion of two generations. Firstly, there are the years of deejaying experience of Benny, who, was already a trance DJ in 1995 and celebrated all releases and successes with Paradox Music. And secondly, there is Pascal, whose professionalism as a producer will ensure the continuation of extravagant sounds on future electronic Ben Purple productions.
