By the early nineties Benjibaby was capturing the acid house records and hardcore rap beats that were being played at local clubs, house parties and raves. He soon started playing records at several parties in Heidelberg and Karlsruhe. Along with his partners in crime, Achim Fürsich and Aytala Rodriguez, Benjibaby organized a series of parties under the Der Freitag brand. They have been serving the hottest house and disco tunes at Billy Blues, Heidelberg for 5 years.

Benjibaby was becoming part of the underground dance scene, club-hopped a lot and his list of DJ residencies steadily grew throughout the new millenium, meeting some of the greatest DJs and musicians, included Danny Krivit, Clé, De La Soul, Turntablerockers, Johnny D, Stieber Twins, UNKLE, Gerd Janson, John Acquaviva, Rakim, George Clinton, Amé, Tony Touch, Roy Ayers, Ricardo Villalobos, Safari Sounds, Jan Sirup, Tiefschwarz, James Friedman, Luciano, Jewelz, Tanith, Move D, DJ Spinna, Haitian Star, David Rodigan...

In 2001 he started his Saturday maddness residency at Ziegler, Heidelberg. Following the success of some smaller underground parties in 2009, Benjibaby started focusing on his collaborative work "Boom Box" with B.Müller and Akgün.
