Ape is back and for this release we've gone all conty-nonty-nental and that!! .....(well.....France and Sheffiled but still........)

We at Ape towers have a lil bit of something different for you with this release in the form of 2 tunes from French house/techno supremo Benjamin Vial.

Especially for us, Monsieur B. Vial has shunned his four to the floor leanings in favour of something much more breaks n bass flavoured!

First up we have 'Empire', a big 808 kik led garagey beast that booms from the start, winding in a wicked old skool vocal followed quickly by a monster hooky techno B-line guaranteed worm its way right into your subconscious ( believe me it will ) Rounded off by some killer edits, funk breaks and rave horns, ladies and gents we have a winner!!

Next up is 'Back Control', an altogether grimier affair harking back to the sounds of the original 'NuSkoolBreaks' in all its glory.. Big subs, steppy drums and more space than Stephen Hawkings' new book about Space this is a proper musical killer..

Given that we at Ape don't like to do things by halfs we have gone balls out on the remixes for you this time for sure.

First up we continue the French theme drafting in the 1st Lady of bass music whose new LP 'Raw' on Botchit & Scarper has been smashing all the charts recently, the mighty Flore ! Taking Empire to a whole new place Flore has dropped some big Arabic horn type steez turning it into a real bass music badboy. Tried and tested this has been slaying the more discerning dancefloors worldwide!

Next up we take a slight detour from France to...err..Sheffield :D ...and the result is monstrous!!
We have the pleasure of giving you a BIG remix from Lot 49 badman ....Vandal !! ...and you know what he does not dissapoint!! Mr Vandal has taken the b-line of Empire and crafted it into a behemoth of a techno breaks tune with t op notch production that will murdalise the sound systems ya get meh!!

Rounding of the release we return to France and some 4/4 business from the awesome Hi!-Population who has turned out a massive electro house mix of epic proportions to round of the release with some serious style!

All in all yet another bangin Ape release!!
