They wrote this WITH Braxton and his vocals were way poppier. I just saw Tyondai with the Wordless Music Orchestra and I don't know how hard it was for him to leave Battles in the middle of this record (I know he's talked about Battles always being his main thing), but he is DEFINITELY in a good place right now. I'm sure the live show will be different since I doubt any of them are singing 24/7. That being said...this song is the SHIT!
