Disquiet Junto Association for communal music/sound-making. (Please read the Info tab before posting. All Disquiet Junto tracks are based on specific projects.)
Every weekend my girl and I take care of a bunch of what I call "crap of life" - cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. I thought for this installment of Disquiet's Junto project I would soundtrack a portion of one of those tasks.
After doing a lot of field recordings while doing these tasks I finally settled on the one I made while returning from grocery shopping. The sounds you hear begin outside our building and follow us into the hallway, waiting for the elevator, riding up, walking to our condo, and going inside.
The music will hopefully make that seemingly mundane task seem a bit more interesting.
Thanks so much for listening. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm doing a new "Immersions" mix which naturally means I will have to include one of your tracks - it'd be rude not too.....

Really lovely stuff and great to hear something using a similar source idea to mine, cos it's quite a different track (unsurprisingly). I kind of wish I'd added more musical elements to mine now!
