Another Monome improvisation. This time I ran Quadrants on my Grayscale 128 (Polygome & Tintinnabulome) MIDI sync'd to Ableton Live (Operator & Omnisphere). Thanks for listening.

@klontart: Drone pop indeed! I think I may have another one I just wrote today. Hope to polish it up and post soon. Stay tuned!

@benjamindauer: Drone pop! There you go, we just invented a new genre. :)

@klontart: I am very glad the elements you talk about came through in the performance. I rehearsed a few different ways to do this song and wound up just hitting record and 'going for it'. Turned out to be the best approach I suppose - I definitely wanted it to feel more like a 'song' than a mere 'drone'. I love the idea of drone pop! Thank you again for your feedback, I really appreciate it.

@benjamindauer: What I like about this track is that it has *structure*. While it is drone-ish, the swelling sounds that feed the drone make it stand out from the regular drone approach. The tone of the sounds is another thing. The transposition half way down the track yet another. The length is perfect too, imo. It's a bit like a drone pop song, lol. Dramatically kidding, but maybe it helps. ;)

@John Koch-Northrup: Thanks John. I really appreciate the kind words. I tried to make this a 'leave them wanting more', short but sweet song.
