Disquiet Junto Association for communal music/sound-making
Field recordings of ice cubes falling, swirling, squeaking, etc. mixed w/ambience, piano, and acoustic bass. I recorded all of the ice sounds using FiRe on my iPhone - some of them were taken w/the phone at a distance while the squeaking and swirls were taken by holding the phone above the glass and, w/them both in the same hand, slowly rotating the glass causing the cubes to rub against the side.
Thanks for listening!

This is an incredibly beautiful work! The bass grounds this perfectly, but the crackling ice gives it a great crunchy texture. Great work!

A lot going on here that you've made cohesive and simple. Well done. A definite download for the earphones, thank you.

@J Butler: Thank you so much! I used an instance of Omnisphere w/a custom patch using a slow envelope - it made the chord progression slowly blossom.

Love the pad-like sounds that run throughout the whole piece...how did you make them? They're beautiful.
