Hi. My name is Benjamin Hall but my alias is Anatomy of the Spirit. I live in Texas where I study music and am a jazz trumpet major at my university. I am a senior now but I've been composing since I was 11 and just started getting into production about 2 years ago. The genres that inspire my compositions the most are Chiptune, Nujabes-styled underground hip hop, Darkstep, Breakcore, Raggacore, New Age, World music (particularly African, Latino and Celtic) and contemporary (mainly Bartok bc Bartok is AWESOME!). Although I have just started the process of composing, i've been programming sounds from scratch (starting from a simple pulse wave initiated track) for years and most of the instruments you will hear in my songs I created from scratch including the percussion. In total i have created over 60 sounds (about 8 of them are dubstep bass sounds) I love sitting down and programming the sounds as much as I love arranging them, or even more because it's very leisurely and I can express my current emotion through the sound i'm making. I have BIIIIG plans for my future productions, but need to buy a couple of preset drums and acoustic instruments to save me time in making new instruments.
