Ben Fox grew up in Nelson, BC. His father a musician, music has always been a big part of his life. His passion for good music spreads itself throughout almost all genres. There is a song for every situation and every mood. When Ben Fox plays music he captures these sounds and delivers them in a timely fashion sharing his love for music and life with the people around him. He has the ability to quick mix, cut, scratch, juggle and blend tracks from various genres seamlessly with a style that is hard to find. When playing he chooses only to use vinyl or Serato vinyl manipulation and is considered a triple threat as a Dj/Mc and Producer.
He has opened for artists such as Flux Pavillion, Method Man and Inspectah deck of Wu Tang Clan, Kraddy, Liquid Stranger, Funkanomics, Del The Funky Homosapien and Zion I to name a few. Playing opening slots like these has helped give Fox some attention. Playing festivals like Shambhala, One-Fest, Hidden and Sync continue to solidify him as a true party rocking DJ. When he steps on the stage he plays something for everybody. Ben Fox drops sets that span the realm of music. Expect anything and everything as he cruises through the genres, playing mainly Glitch, Hip Hop, Breaks, Electro, Dub-step, Drum n Bass, Dancehall/Reggae, Funk and Soul. Mixing back and forth between high and low tempos, dropping tracks forty years old to new glitchy mashes with classic acappella's on them, he refuses to be just another DJ and you never know what's coming.
