About
"Creating rap music cause I never dug disco." — Kool Keith, Ultramagnetic MCs
Sean Glenn hails from the savagely rain-beaten streets of the Emerald City: Seattle, Washington. Brought up on comic books, Dungeons & Dragons, Wang Chung, Run DMC, Slick Rick, and the Beastie Boys, its no wonder he turned out this way.
In 1997 he bought his first Gemini turntable, then immediately upgraded to a pair of Technics 1200s, learned how to actually mix two records together, and was DJing professionally and making beats by 2005; after many long nights of making mixtapes for friends who didn't even like Jungle, Hip Hop, Drum n Bass, or any of the other music that carefully filled two sides of Maxell C-90 cassette tapes.
Sadly, Sean was forced to work in the advertising industry to support his DJing habit, often working 50 to 80 hours a week, just to spend his off hours tracking down obscure 12" releases of records no one wanted to hear when they were new. His obsession with learning everything he could about mixing, production, and of course, obsolete technology like analog signal chain gain staging has led him to a sad world where he lives now, surrounded by incredibly talented friends, creating music he calls "hip hop for people who like hip hop" and constantly telling people about his latest mixing or production trick, or something he read in a manual for a product that hasn't been manufactured since the 90s. He remains a staunch and loyal fan of golden age hip hop, but shows signs of forward progress with his interest in glitch hop, dubstep, and even splinter-genre breakouts like moombaton and symphonic punk country disco.

Sickness.
Nice drop!
That's the shit, right there.
I like it enough that I should.
I wanna hear this in the next big budget spy movie I see!
You got that Gucci Crew II swag going on all ovah this beat. Noice!
@MIKE B PRODUCTIONS: Thanks man, its one of my favorites, been sitting in my beats to finish box for quite a while, but I decided to share it anyway.
Look out, Alice, you're gonna get swallowed by the Bass Monster!
This sounds like a track Tribe could flow over. Summa Time ish!
Niiiice one!
Dude, I gotta say, this sounds every bit as good on this beat as in Firestarter. Killer track, great lyrics. WHERE YOUR ALBUM AT YO! and send me a WAV to master on this bitch.
Solid chops yo. So very en eye see eeyee.
@eterNal: Thanks man!
I will raid Shane's hard drive if you send me your Boom Blap set, Matt!
@moneyisthemotive: Thanks man!
Mmmm... now that's the smell of old vinyl and dusty turntables!
@The_Architect: I represent with no particulars, set foot in every borough, don't slip though, to stay alive the hustle must be thorough, I catch pounds from cats at hot dog stands, meanwhile Wall Street screamiin' 'you the man!' Walk from block to boulevard, from Central Park to Central Booking, Grand Central Station, to the last stop at Flushing…
@Upright: I like that from the people up top - to quote my man Chuck D.
This is a great job of sampling just the right pieces. Really really like the flow and pace of this.
This is just wicked niceness. It feels like a 2011 version of the Fat Albert theme song, a nod to nostalgia while being completely new.
Nice intro!
Nicely done.
That's hella damn tight, man. Nice one.
Super tight, nice production, full of style. I dig it.
Ruff an tuff!
This is mad tight, son! Gold star and all that.
Keeping it so damn classy - nice work on this remix yo, its been a favorite track of mine for a hot minute now.
I keep mah chopper in the trunk for when I put in work, yo!
That's some real talk right there, and this remix is the sickness.
I did not imagine this was gonna work, but hell yeah, you pulled it off quite nicely guys.
This is just way too sick. Awesome sample choice, and great sound for the beat, hella tight.
Veddy veddy good!
Those are UN Black Helicopters coming for all the bass heads during this drop aren't they? Haha... killer work on this one man, can't wait to hear it played out in the clubs!
Hot damn, here we go again! Heat, straight heat. Love the breakdown that comes up after this too.
@LUKEYCAGE: Haha, yeah man, tough times, but at least I didn't end up with a symbiotic parasite set of black pajamas
Nice! This has that big epic feel without sounding like its meant to be some over the top movie theme or national anthem. This is like hood anthem, but uplifting. Really dig.
Drum roll please! This track is mad tight, son. On some best evah ish.
This is phenomenally sick right here.
Really nice work on this. Tight.
Seriously one of your best beats, man. Top to bottom, its bangin
