The original version of Always on Fire is a total madman so I really had to crank up the inner metal head in me when I got a chance to remix this bad boy. James Francis of Paths of Glory left me to my own devices, so of course, I did what any respectful remixer does: I destroyed everything as much as possible. Out of the wreckage of busted amps, broken guitar strings, a hastily discarded bikini top, and an empty Jack Daniels bottle came my take on the industrial metal Motley Crue meets Rob Zombie sound. Music to get kicked out of a strip club by, as it were.
