Zak Love bringing the independent hip hop heat couples with some electronic hip hop instrumentals and so forth. There are no new tracks on this mix....just continuing to dig through the crates while moving into my new place. This one walks the fine line between straight up underground hip hop boom bap and the heavily infused electronic hip hop via early Prefuse 73 and such. I was heavily moved by P73's first LP and early EP's and RJD2's early stuff....you will hear alot of that in this mix. I did not do a full tracklist but I will add it shortly. Briefly here is what you will hear....Prefuse 73, RJD2, Mos Def, El-P, DJ Shadow, Jurassic 5, Atmosphere, Swollen Members. There are loads of great tracks on this....the mixing is just ok.....but I am moving house so I don't have the time for more than one take these days. Enjoy this musical ride.
