INFOS:

Look Like and Leg-No join forces to drop their blazing new EP on Be Bonkerz. Jucy Lucy comes with two dazzling original tracks plus remixes by Sticky Stockholm and Five Finger Discount.

Young DJ and producer Look Like is part of Zurich-based project The Stereo Youth and one of the most promising acts emerging from the Swiss club scene lately. His drops on Top Billin and Get Flavor earned him high rankings in sales charts as well as the attention of DJs and listeners all over.

Italian-born Leg-No is head of Berlin's Be Bonkerz label and a longtime connoisseur of the artform known as House, with loads of releases, collabos and remixes to boast.

Titletrack Jucy Lucy mesmerizes with its infectuous marimba-pattern driven by pumping House beats. Moments of melancholic joy flare up when the marimba finally evolves its beautiful melody in the break, only to be catapulted into complete euphoria once the beat drops - Jucy Lucy is magical.

Fextexting is a luscious Garage joint dripping with smoothness. A bouncing beat accompanied by toms and tribal percussion build the stage for obscure synth chords and stabs to perform their mystical veil dance. Deep!

Five Finger Discount from Manchester straight out and toughen the beat to let it run with a acid-charged 303-bassline. In a hostile technoid environment, the Marimba remains like a lonely reverberation of life in a world long since taken over by machines - dark fun.

Sticky Stockholm of reknown Swedish blog-label dbty deconstructs and revives Lucy with surgical precission. Dubby stabs and butterfly pads form a nebulous ambience through which razor-sharp bits of percussion mercilessly cut their way, propelled by a reduced, fragmented beat. True love for detail.
