Ed Wyett (Aka Anjos) - DJ, promoter and soon to be producer - is one of the freshest and brightest talents currently around on the house music scene. He has DJed with some of the biggest names in the business at some of the finest venues around.

Ed was born in Beirut and came to England in the early 80’s; he was raised in Yorkshire and first tried his hand at Djing when he was 15. At the time he was very keen on D&B music, so he saved up the money to buy himself a pair of decks and taught himself how to mix.

Like all teenagers, however, he found himself moving with the trends. Following a surge in the popularity of house music in the late 1990’s Ed realised that his musical tastes were changing and house and techno was now his new love.
After a couple of years spent building up his record collection, and with plenty of practice under his belt, Ed decided it was time to take things to the next level.

His first real break came whilst working at Eastern block records, where he befriended a local Dj who was resident at the legendary Orbit club in Morley, and this led to more bookings in the area.

In 2003, with his new found confidence, Ed took the decision to spend the summer in Ibiza. Djing for the first time on the ‘white isle’ he played at bars including Café Mambo, Bar M, Bora Bora, Space and Base bar.

Once the summer was over Ed decided to return to his country of birth instead of the UK, where through a friend of his cousin, graced the decks of hanger 19 club and other venues in central Beirut.

On his return to the UK Ed secured further bookings at venues including Turnmills in London, The Arches in Glasgow, and The Faversham in Leeds and Honey Club in Brighton.
Comfortably combining music from across a range, Ed is a dynamic and interactive DJ who blends rolling basslines, harmonic synths, and energetic percussions to craft an infectious and atmospheric sound.

In April 2010 saw Ed take things a step further and realise one of his ambitions - to host his own events. Together with a friend he set up his own promotions company, Beautiful Elements Promotions, and the dream became a reality, finding their first venue was an experience and challenge; but achieved when they held their first party at The doors club in Shoreditch, with the launch night successful and with a more than expected crowd, there second party followed shortly after, and so began his journey in promotions.

After many successful nights Beautiful Elements then decided to go truly underground and held secret parties for the selected few, which grew and grew.
Ed is currently developing his production skills, and 2011 / 2012 will be launching his digital imprint Underground Elements Digital, where he aims to launch his own tracks and future up & coming stars.
