Michael BeatZilla Whitmore is a singer,producer,song writer and drummer who has grown up in and around making good music. He has played and/or has sang bg vocals for Karen Clark-Sheard,Milton Biggom,Lillian Lilly,Keith Staten also have been in the opening acts for the likes of Prince & The N.P.G., Al Green,Darryl Coley and a host of other artist. In 2010 he was involved in making of Tony Ozier and the DooDooFunkAllStars 1st release (Keep The Funk Alive) which features such artist as Bootsy Collins,Al B Sure and Yolanda Johnson.He has also wrote and produced music for other local artist as well as appearing on other artist albums. He has also been a co-host of the Dookie Jam since Tony Ozier 1st started it for all of the music makers to have an outlet and just be free and get down doing what they love which has brought in such artist as Lady Gaga and The Monsters Ball Band to whom he performed with, also Al B Sure,The N.P.G. Band,Afro Classics and many others. The DooDooFunkAllStars were also nominated for a Portland Music Award for best live performance 2010. In June of 2011 He wrote and sang "Love Games" which was produced and co-wrote by Tony (Dookie Green) Ozier & Reva Devito on the debut album of Mr. Farnell Newton titled "Class Is Now In Session". Now he is in the works of his own debut album which is still untitled but he will be bringing that sound as only he can in the mission of bringing back feel good,live music back to the fore front and now he also is the singer for the Funk/Jazz Band Opus which just recently opened for Prince & The N.P.G.'s Official After Show Jam.
