Beatspoke is organic soul and gritty truth. Sub-bass lines and unpredictable beats, melodies and lyrics tell of personal trials, growth and consciousness in world that is in dire need of change.

The project began in 2003 when American vocalist Sarah Gessler moved to Barcelona and met native producer Josh Fontan through joining the underground music scene. Since then they have been performing in festivals and clubs in Europe and the USA sharing stages with artists such as DJ Vadim, Bonobo, Wax Tailor, Diplo, Zero DB, Bugz in the Attic, Elliot Lipp, Rich Medina, RQM, Foreign Beggars, Al-Haca & Stereotype amongst others.

Since the debut of their album ¨No Rush¨ in early 2009 and the release of two ¨No Rush¨ remix EPs in Japan and Europe, they´ve been nominated for and won several awards as well as received a tremendous response from the media. Most recently they won the Gilles Peterson´s World Wide Festival Talent Search 2009 and they are currently nominated for Best First Album by Radio Grenouille 88.8 FM.
