Dj AshishB comes from a truly international background - born in India, brought up in Dubai, schooled in England, and now based in Denver, Colorado. He started his DJing carrer at the age of 16, and did high school gigs and mixsets for dance performances. He started using professional mixing equipment and production gear when he was in England, where he was also exposed to the huge rise in the Bhangra and Asian Fusion scene.

DJ AshishB. is an integral part of the South Asian cultural scene in North America, and all around the world, playing and introducing the best of Bollywood/Bhangra/Asian Fusion to packed houses in the USA, Canada, the UK, Dubai, and India! Locally, he's done club events here in Colorado (Church, Vinyl, Lotus, Ra, Sutra Lounge, Zen Ultra Lounge, etc) to crowds of over 3000 people.

Also a host of the infamous "Beats from the East" Radio Show and Podcast, gaining international recognition with the top downloaded Bollywood Remix Podcast on iTunes!

He’s also been extensively involved with remixing, mashing up and reproducing tracks. His DJ sets and hit remixes like “Das Ja Single Ladies” (mashup of Beyonce’s Single Ladies with Dj Sanj’s bhangra classic Das Ja) and Imran Khan’s Amplifier (reproduced remix with one of India’s top Dj’s - Dj A.Sen) have been featured on BBC Radio 1 - Nihal’s Asian Beats Show, The Friction Show presented by Bobby Friction, The Bhangra mixtape presented by SonniJi and Breakdown with Ameet Chana on the BBC Asian Network, XM Sat Radio (USA), City FM Dubai, Radio Spice Dubai, Lotus (S.Africa) & radio shows across Australia as well.
