About

Drawing on collective influences from Soul, Garage, 80's Classics and Club music Beat Rivals fuse individual styles into a single groove.

From an introduction in the early nineties through a mutual friend, South Londoner Soulshy and East Londoner Krazy K, both established
producers, discovered they had mutual goals in music. Both self taught producers they shared experiences and knowledge. From these
early days there was always a friendly rivalry which would drive them on. Even when working on individual projects the support for each
other was always there.

By chance they individually became mentored by Karl “Tuff Enuff” Brown (Double Trouble/Tuff Jam/Groove Skool). This was the final piece
of the jigsaw, where they gained their focus.
Although pushing different styles, they worked well together, with the contrast in styles blending to perfectioon. The Beat Rivals had
landed!

Producers Krazy K and Soulshy have began releasing their music with a unique touch, offering no less than 3 mixes per track, each producing their own rival mixes and then collaborate on a mix together.

The Beat Rivals debut release “Why Do I” has charted in no less than 5 online music charts including, Soul Kandi and Reverb Nation, receiving airplay from heavyweights Solar Radio and Soul Kandi. Featuring Flexie Musio the track can be heard and purchased online along with follow up single “Give It To Me” (Soulshy Remix) featuring CeCe David which has already reached number 1 in the Semptember Soul Kandi Chart
charts.

What's next in the Pipeline? Just a little track called "Free" featuring none other than Lifford.
