    About Beat Me Up:

    We are a collective of DJ's/Producers hailing from South West London who began our venture as ‘Beat Me Up’ late last year (2008) and have already played togehter as a collective at various venues including bar nights at Mish Mash and club nights at Corsica Studios, Area & Ministry of Sound under the guise ‘Beat Me Up’.

    This group will host all our future productions and monthly mixes.

    We all come from slightly different musical backgrounds, bringing them together over a mutual love of House music.

    Leon Weber has been mixing for well over ten years and having started DJ'ing Jungle/Drum and Bass has played on many FM and internet radio stations, notably Origin 95.2 FM and Invincible Radio as well as guesting on many others. His career began by regularly playing the squat party scene all over London along with appearances at venues such as The Coronet, Ministry of Sound, Astoria and Club Rouge to name but a few. As with all good things, his love for Drum and Bass came to an end and his love of House music was reignited. Leon then went on to start working with Tom and Jay on various projects which led to the creation of BMU Music. Leon has now also started his journey into music production and is making rapid progress so watch out for his future tracks.

    Music has always been a massive part of Jay Osbourne’s life. His dad was a successful singer in a Funk band named ‘Savanna’ as well as also being a backing singer for Sade and Wham. This musical background contributed to Jay’s keen interest in music, whether it was Producing, DJing, Singing or MCing. Jay has played on Freeze FM and other known stations as well as for a variety of clubs in London.
    He was a big fan of UK Garage in the mid to late 90s, however, has an eclectic taste in music and was taken by House music on his first trip to Ibiza. Having re-found his passion for music he has recently laid down a vocal on the latest Beat Me Up track.

    Tom Holloway has always possessed a keen interest in music, whether it was playing or contributing from behind the scenes. He played lead guitar in a band in his school years, however, that all changed when one of his friends borrowed a set of turntables and he caught the mixing bug. From then on he started buying Jungle tunes and hasn't looked back since.
    He also dabbled in production as a hobby and having met Leon and Jay has gained some serious focus. Having been a regular raver on the Jungle/Drum and Bass scene, Tom has experienced the changes in music and crowd and decided to shift his focus to House music and events, which has really re-fuelled his passion for music. And so, ‘Beat Me Up’ was born.
