@brittridd: actually this is proving to be pretty helpful, i was completely out of ideas for who to sample, and i haven't heard of any of the vocalists you've mentioned. i will go check them out!

@Beat Culture: It does work well, I really just wish you'd find someone else to sample, wah. Listening to your music is the most beyonce I've ever listened to and when I play it for people I cringe if they recognize her in it bc I feel like it takes the focus away from the incredible music you're creating. Just my personal opinion, you're music is excellent regardless of who you choose to sample, I just wish it wasn't someone so mainstream and recognizable. Not to be too bold, but if I could make suggestions on female vocalists I'd love to hear in your music I'd say: Seinabo Sey, Szjerdene, Muhsinah, Esperanza Spalding. Like I said, just my opinion. Anyway, done with my rant, keep making incredible music, it gets me through the day. Still waiting for Tokyo Dreamer and thanks for the twitter RTs. Thank you.
